Experienced with business, employment, and unlawful detainers and other matters, Leslie has been lauded widely for her commercial real estate-focused practice.
Leslie came to Ferguson Case Orr Paterson in 2002 after drafting energy and environmental legislation as a deputy counsel at the nonpartisan Legislative Counsel Bureau of California. A 2000 graduate of the Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, Leslie also earned a certificate in environmental and natural resources law and was an associate editor of the school’s Environmental Law review. In 1997, Leslie graduated summa cum laude from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, where she earned a bachelor of sciences degree in forestry and natural resources. She also studied Spanish at Spain’s Universidad de Granada in 1996.
With more than seventeen years as a member of our team, Leslie also dedicates her energy in service of the community. She has been a volunteer attorney with Santa Clara Valley Legal Aid since 2009. In 2012 she was recognized with the Ventura County Bar Association/Volunteer Legal Service Project’s James D. Loebl award for her pro-bono work, with the State Bar of California’s Presidents Pro Bono Service Award. She has received numerous other awards, and is rated preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell peer-review ratings. She was also recognized from 2009-2015 by Los Angeles Magazine in its “Super Lawyers” Rising Stars Edition.
