FCOP’s Jim McDermott in the Ventura Star

(March 22, 2011).  FCOP’s Jim McDermott is part of taxpayer group asking supervisors to release names of top pensioners.  “The Ventura County Board of Supervisors should intervene to get the names of top-earning county retirees released to the public, an advocacy group said Tuesday.  The request came from the Ventura County Taxpayers Association, which is seeking a court order to compel the disclosure of an estimated 280 county government retirees whose annual pensions top $100,000. The group has sued the county retirement board for the release, a case pending in Ventura County Superior Court.”  Read more of the article here.
